It was a beautiful 4th of July in Bend yesterday ... and we celebrated from morning to night! Our day started with front row seats at the Bend Pet Parade. Then, it was off to the Old Fashioned Bend 4th of July Celebration in downtown. Later that afternoon, our "BBF's" (as Shawna called them ... that's "Best Bend Friends," by the way), came over for a BBQ dinner and "pool party" for the kids. Our evening culminated with fireworks in the front yard followed by viewing the fireworks explode atop Pilot Butte.

Bryon is still on the radio ... after waking up at 3am for 10 years, Bryon is now hosting the afternoon show on THE PEAK 104.1 (in Bend) from 2p to 7p. This new shift allows Bryon to tackle his new, full-time position at First Baptist Church - leading the middle school ministry as its director. Shawna left the radio industry in March 2009 to serve part-time at First Baptist Church leading the children's ministry and to spend lots of time with Alyssa.
