On Tuesday, we took our middle schoolers on an overnighter to Salem. We started by serving dinner at the Union Gospel Mission: Shawna, Alyssa and the girls served at the women's shelter and I took the boys to serve at the men's. Then, it was off to the Enchanted Forest. Alyssa still isn't tall enough for most of the rides, but she had a blast on the Tiny Tune Train (as seen below) and the Mini-Bumper Boats.

Bryon is still on the radio ... after waking up at 3am for 10 years, Bryon is now hosting the afternoon show on THE PEAK 104.1 (in Bend) from 2p to 7p. This new shift allows Bryon to tackle his new, full-time position at First Baptist Church - leading the middle school ministry as its director. Shawna left the radio industry in March 2009 to serve part-time at First Baptist Church leading the children's ministry and to spend lots of time with Alyssa.
