For the first time, I wore shorts on Thanksgiving ... I should mention I was able to do so because we were in Phoenix with Shawna's family for the week. Temps were in the upper 70's and it seemed there was always something going on. Here's a quick look at the highlights of the trip ... and yes, that is Alyssa feeding a giraffe!

| what we're doing
Bryon is still on the radio ... after waking up at 3am for 10 years, Bryon is now hosting the afternoon show on THE PEAK 104.1 (in Bend) from 2p to 7p. This new shift allows Bryon to tackle his new, full-time position at First Baptist Church - leading the middle school ministry as its director. Shawna left the radio industry in March 2009 to serve part-time at First Baptist Church leading the children's ministry and to spend lots of time with Alyssa.
