Last weekend, our church presented our Christmas production, A Manger Story. As the show's director, I had the great pleasure of working with a cast and crew of 40+ volunteers to present a show that told the story of Christmas in a unique way. Of the over 500 people that saw the show over its 3-night run, I had no idea my mom would be one of them. I would come to learn that Shawna and my mom had been working on a secret plan for her to visit Bend to see the play. It was great having her in town and to see the show.
