God is many things ... among them, He's the great provider. Let me explain ... for those of you that weren’t aware, Shawna had a miscarriage a few months ago. At the time, we were consumed with doctor visits, tests and ultrasounds and the eventual miscarrying process. A couple weeks ago, two bills arrived in the mail. The timing was far from ideal. Christmas plans were in motion and while we expected medical costs, we had no idea of the financial repercussions of the miscarriage. These bills were big and unexpected. This morning, Shawna and I received our Christmas "bonuses" from the church (throughout December, members of the church are able to give to a staff gift fund). As I deposited the checks, I had a thought to look at the medical bills still unpaid and in my briefcase. I was blown away ... the deposit I had just made would pay these bills in full with 3 cents leftover. Some would call that coincidence … I give God all the credit. How about that for a Christmas gift?
