color blind ...
I blogged a week (or so) ago that I recently had the chance to speak at Jewell Elementary during the school’s “Celebrity Readers” day. Well, today, I received an envelope full of thank you cards and letters from the classrooms I visited. It’s been said that kids are color blind to race, and Bailey’s card [below] proves just that. Blond hair, blue eyes and tall ... go figure.
